This is a hand-crafted wooden shadow box containing wooden figures that represent the three Wise Men seeking the Christ Child. It was assembled by hand to look like a 3-dimensional Nativity scene. Each figure was cut to shape, sanded, and stained by hand. The details were created using a wood burning tool. All figures are glued to the picture frame backing so that they keep the 3-dimensional look. The scene is protected by a plexiglass panel.
This can be hung up to celebrate the Christmas season, and then stored away for next Christmas.
