This coin bank represents an old renovated Medieval Keep. The interior is a wooden box covered by rigid foam board that is shaped like stone. The coin drop is in the wooden roof at the top. It has a "hidden" coin access (under the bottom) which will allow you to remove the money that has been stored in it.
PLEASE NOTE: although very sturdy and well made, this bank is NOT meant as a toy for children as it could be damaged by rough handling, but it would be a good gift for a youngster to get started saving their money, or as a fun tool to save some money for savings minded people - be they young or old.
The "hidden" coin access is a simple plastic plug which can be removed to access the money that's been saved.

A 50cent coin does not fit slot nor bottom plug, so it makes a perfect accent up there atop the tower. Item is lightweight but feels sturdy enough to withstand curious cats. Package had extra crosswise tape as I requested, and arrived with perfect timing just 15 minutes before gift recipient was due home. Thank you very much!
